Sign Code Modernization Project

On Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00am, staff held a meeting in the Point of View Conference Room at the Development and Community Services Building (9875 North 85th Avenue, Peoria, AZ) with identified stakeholders to discuss the Sign Code Modernization project. The purpose of this meeting was to give its attendees a sense of the current state of Peoria’s Sign Code, as well as the legal landscape affecting sign regulation today. In addition, participants were asked for their feedback on particular aspects of sign regulation that will be considered as staff prepares a new draft sign code for City Council’s consideration.

This was expected to be the first of two stakeholder meetings. Public engagement will be encouraged through the use of updates and public comment options on the Planning Division’s webpage as well as through other media outlets. For more information, or to provide comment on this project, please contact Melissa Sigmund at melissa.sigmund@peoriaaz.gov.
