District Shred Events

City of Peoria Councilmembers host periodic shred events within their district for the benefit of the community. These events are not held on a set schedule. Shred events provide residents secure disposal and professional destruction of important documents. The majority of identity theft occurs when the thief has direct contact with the victim's personal information. As a safeguard, individuals should destroy private documents when no longer in use.

The events are free (unless otherwise noted) with a limit of up to 5 "banker boxes" of material. Enter your address into our interactive map to find out which council district you are in.
