Credit Card Service Fees
Beginning July 1, 2017, all credit card transactions related to planning applications submissions will be subject to a nonrefundable service fee of 2.25 percent. This service fee, approved by the Peoria City Council on Sept. 6, 2016, is intended to cover the city’s costs of offering credit cards as a payment option to its customers.
The service fee will take effect the same day the city goes live with a new online payment system for development services. Customers will continue to have several no-cost options for paying development-related fees, including a new e-check option that will be available online. Thank you for doing business with the city of Peoria.
