Impact Fee Stakeholder Meeting
The City of Peoria is holding an Impact Fee Stakeholder Meeting on Tuesday, May 15th at 3:00 pm at the Peoria City Hall, 8401 W. Monroe St. in the Pine room. This meeting is intended to have our consultants (Duncan Associates and Raftelis) present to give you an opportunity to ask questions about our methodology as it regards our review of our General Government Impact Fees as well as our Water and Sewer Impact Fees. Peoria last amended its impact fees back in 2014 after similar studies at that time.
Sign Code Update
On March 6, 2018, the City of Peoria Mayor and Council voted to adopt a new City Code Chapter 21-827, otherwise known as the Sign Code. The update helps to achieve a balance with business needs and aesthetics, while meeting legal requirements. Additionally, the regulations have been reformatted to increase usability and functionality.

About the Planning and Community Development Department
The Planning and Community Development Department is responsible for establishing short and long-range development standards, Housing Services, Peoria Support, the Neighborhood Pride Program, implementation and administration of city zoning, planning, and development policies. The Department also provides staff support for the City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission, Board of Adjustments, Design Review Board, and the Historic Preservation Commission.
