CODES OF CONDUCT
PARENT RESOURCES & TIPS
The City of Peoria encourages and supports the participation of people with disabilities in all programs and services. We strive to make every program accessible to all participants, and we recognize that this includes a wide range of abilities and skills. We provide inclusion support services and reasonable accommodations. To make each program as successful as possible for all participants, the Request for Modification Packet must be returned to the City of Peoria's Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist two weeks prior to the registration deadline or the beginning of the program, whichever is earlier.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
Player safety is our number one concern. Unfortunately, we are unable to make-up/reschedule games and practices due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions. Coaches and parents will be notified via email as quickly as possible in the event that games/practices are cancelled due to weather.
PEORIA YOUTH SPORTS OFFERED & AGE DIVISIONS
GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
TEAM FORMATION INFORMATION
Teams will be based on the number of registrations we receive for each sport / age division. We will create teams based on location and requests. Participants will be provided the opportunity to request a specific coach along with providing their closest PUSD school during the registration process; however participants will not be provided the opportunity to request a friend to be placed on the same team with. There is absolutely no guarantee of placement onto a specific team if provided at the time of registration. Once teams are formed, we are unable to switch children to a different team due to the many moving parts and large amount of special requests already received.
PRACTICE & GAME INFORMATION
Teams will practice one weeknight (Mon.-Thur.) beginning the week of September 23. Practice days and location are based on volunteer coach. All games will be on Saturday beginning October 5. Times and locations will be determined based on availability and registration numbers.
POLICY ON PLAYING UP AN AGE DIVISION
Make sure to register in the correct age / gender for your child. Participants are not allowed to play down in a younger age division than what they are eligible. Participants may play up in an older age division IF they are less than 12 months from the age cut-off date AND if they meet the minimum age requirement for the sport. (Ex: An 8 year old may play in our 9 & 10 soccer league, but a 3 year old cannot register for our 4 & 5 year old soccer league). The age cut-off date for youth basketball is October 5, 2019.
