Home MenuLocated inside of Rio Vista Community Park, the Rio Vista Recreation Center is designed to be a versatile, family-friendly facility. Its numerous amenities and programs are intended to engage residents and promote healthy lifestyles.
The Recreation Center is home to a number of firsts in Peoria, including the first public gymnasium, the first indoor racquetball courts, the first climbing wall and so much more. The 52,000 square-foot facility was recognized by the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association as an Outstanding Facility of the Year in 2007 and in 2008.

MINOR WAIVER
- Complete the Minor Waiver online for entrance into the Rec. Center
FACILITY USE REQUIREMENTS
In order to open, the city and patrons of the recreation center must follow mandatory guidelines from the Arizona Department of Health Services.
- Face coverings will be required unless involved in physical activity.
- A symptom check will be required when checking into the facility.
- Patrons will be expected to practice physical distancing from others while in the facility.
For those who are experiencing symptoms, we ask that you do not enter the facility or return unless you are symptom free for at least 10 days. To continue to ensure your health and safety, we will continue to follow all state and federal protocols for sanitation and social distancing.
ALL PASSES EXTENDED / UPDATED
All passes will now have the appropriate amount of time lost on them. If you wish to freeze your pass until guidelines change, please talk to the front desk staff.
