Park Hours

Daily, 6 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. (some exceptions on Holidays)

Community Parks

Peoria Dog Parks

Sunnyslope, Parkridge, Alta Vista, Scotland Yard and Pioneer Parks all have areas designed for dogs.

Peoria Splash Pads

Splash pads are located at Rio Vista Community Park, Pioneer Community park, and Camino A Lago park. Splash pads are open seasonally from April 15 through October 15. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What's New

Name Peoria's Next Neighborhood Park
A new neighborhood park is under construction! Located at N. 97th Dr. and W. Williams Rd. in The Meadows at Camino A Lago, this new City of Peoria public park is scheduled to open in late summer / early fall 2020. The Parks and Recreation Board is requesting public input for the new park's name. Read more about the new park and submit your suggested name ideas.

Ramadas are reserved in time blocks of 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., 1 - 5 p.m. and 5 -9 p.m.

Beer Permits

Beer permits are $10 and must stay within the ramada area. Only canned beer is allowed. No other alcohol is allowed
