Peoria's Community parks are destinations that serve residents beyond the surrounding neighborhood. These parks are large in size with multiple amenities to provide a full day of activities for families and visitors.
Sunnyslope, Parkridge, Alta Vista, Scotland Yard and Pioneer Parks all have areas designed for dogs.
Peoria Splash Pads
Splash pads are located at Rio Vista Community Park, Pioneer Community park, and Camino A Lago park. Splash pads are open seasonally from April 15 through October 15. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
UPDATE: Due to the closure of all park amenities effective 3/31, Splash Pads will not be opening on April 15, 2020.

Ramadas are reserved in time blocks of 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., 1 - 5 p.m. and 5 -9 p.m.
