Summer Camp LogoSummer Camp 

Summer Camp is an extension of the AM/PM program with field trips and activities that keep the children busy throughout the day in a safe and secure environment. Summer Camp is licensed by the Department of Health Services (DHS). Department of Economic Security (DES) funding is available. Call DES at (602) 771-0014. Military assistance is available, call (623) 773-7139.

Age 5 and entering Kindergarten to 14 years old
May 29 – August 1; Closed May 28, July 4

Summer Recreation LogoSummer Recreation Drop In Program

This exciting program features arts and crafts, group games and free play to help kids have a fun-filled summer. Optional off-site field trips are offered throughout the week at an additional cost. Trip information will be available at the sites and online in May.

Children entering grades 1-5

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Program Note: This program is a drop-in program. The children may leave at anytime without permission. If this is not a program for you and your child please refer to the City of Peoria Summer Camp Program.


Tiny Tots LogoTiny Tots Program

Tiny Tots is licensed by the Department of Health Services and provides daily arts and crafts, story time, group games and free play. Optional field trips and on-site activities will be offered throughout the week for an additional cost. Field trip information will be available at the sites and online in May. This is not a preschool or daycare, it is a recreational-based program. Birth certificates will be requested upon registration.

Ages 4 and 5 year olds

Locations: Apache and Oasis Elementary Schools


Step Out LogoStep Out Summer Teen Recreation

This program is perfect for the young teen looking for something to do during the summer.  This exciting program features arts & crafts, group games and on-site tournaments. Optional off-site field trips will be offered throughout the week at an additional cost. Trip information will be available at the sites and online in May.

ALL children entering grades 6th-9th (ages 10-15 years old)

Lil Learners logoLil' Learners Summer Fun Program

This is the same Lil’ Learner’s with a little summer kick. The Lil’ Learner’s summer program incorporates field trips, guest speakers and activities into the regular curriculum. Field trips are offered through the week for an additional cost.
 
We provide an opportunity for children to participate in a variety of activities and to expand their educational, social and developmental horizons in a supervised and secure environment. The goal of the program is the total well being of each child. The program is licensed by the Department of Health Services and is open to both residents and non-residents of Peoria. Space is limited.

Children ages 3-½ yrs to 5
