Summer Camp LogoSummer Camp

Summer Camp is an extension of the AM/PM program with field trips and activities that keep the children busy throughout the day in a safe and secure environment. Summer Camp is licensed by the Department of Health Services (DHS). Department of Economic Security (DES) funding is available. Call DES at (602) 771-0014. Military assistance is available, call 1-800-424-2246.  

THE SUNSET HEIGHTS LOCATION IS NOW FULL (other Northern sites still available are Zuni HIlls, Parkridge and Paseo Verde -Space is limited)

Age 5 and entering Kindergarten to 14 years old
Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Last day of AM/PM on-site registration is Thursday, May 16, 2019. After this day, all registrations must be received at the Community Services Department.  The final day to register in person at the Community Services Department is Tuesday May 21 at 6 pm.  Registrations after this date must go to the Summer camp site on the first day of Camp, May 28.

Tiny Tots LogoTiny Tots (Lil' Campers)

Welcome to the new Tiny Tots Program. Tiny Tots has now been upgraded into summer camp (Lil’ Campers) offering extended hours and dates that follow the summer camp program.

The program is a recreation-based academic program that focuses on pre-k children. Our days will be filled with fun learning activities within the curriculum; visits to the onsite library and the cafeteria daily learning the ins and outs of lunch to help them become accustomed to the Elementary School environment ensuring a smooth transition into the upcoming school year.

The program will offer some age appropriate field trips and onsite activities. The Tiny Tot (Lil’ Campers) program is at Cotton Boll Elementary School. Complete the same registration forms found on the Summer Camp page.

Age 4-5 years old
Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.

This exciting program features arts and crafts, group games and free play to help kids have a fun-filled summer. Optional off-site field trips are offered throughout the week at an additional cost. Trip information will be available at the sites and online in May.

Children entering grades 1-5
Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Program Note: This program is a drop-in program. The children may leave at anytime without permission. If this is not a program for you and your child please refer to the City of Peoria Summer Camp Program.

Step Out Summer Teen Recreation

This program is perfect for the young teen looking for something to do during the summer.  This exciting program features arts & crafts, group games and on-site tournaments. Optional off-site field trips will be offered throughout the week at an additional cost. Trip information will be available at the sites and online in May.

ALL children entering grades 6th-9th (ages 10-15 years old) 
Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Lil Learners logoLil' Learners Summer Fun Program

This is the same Lil’ Learner’s with a little summer kick. The Lil’ Learner’s summer program incorporates field trips, guest speakers and activities into the regular curriculum. Field trips are offered through the week for an additional cost.
We provide an opportunity for children to participate in a variety of activities and to expand their educational, social and developmental horizons in a supervised and secure environment. The goal of the program is the total well being of each child. The program is licensed by the Department of Health Services and is open to both residents and non-residents of Peoria. Space is limited.
