The City of Peoria special events and arts team is hosting a series of events, food, theater and live music in the heart of Old Town Peoria. Events are held both indoors and outdoors at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, in Osuna Park, and on Washington Street in front of Fire Station No. 1 – Lucidi Distilling Co. Old Town is developing as a center for culture and the arts as more programming and events are offered in this central location. Every weekend this fall and winter, you can catch a variety of entertainment and food options.

Second Saturdays

Starting Oct. 12, 2019 and continuing every second Saturday of the month through May 9, 2020, Peoria will be hosting a local arts and food experience in Old Town called Second Saturdays. The event will take place on Washington Street and 83rd Avenue in Old Town Peoria from 4:30-8:30 p.m., including Osuna Park, the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, Fire Station No. 1 – Lucidi Distilling Co., Iron Key Studio, and Driftwood Coffee.

Bring your family and friends and explore live musical performances, outdoor games, art, specialty vendors, food trucks, and one of a kind pop-up restaurants. These events are free to the public. However, there is a charge if you wish to dine at one of the the pop-up restaurant experiences. Each $30 ticket includes a unique theme dinner menu and beautiful vintage settings in historic Old Town Peoria.

We will also be dedicating the newest mural in the city’s art collection at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts at 4:30 p.m. outside on the plaza facing Osuna Park.

Rachel Kennedy


Phoenix based singer/songwriter, brings Americana folk sounds in the category of artists such as Rilo Kiley, Feist, Ryan Adams. Rachel's last show was a Leonard Cohen tribute show at Crescent Ballroom. She recently released a single “First Time Trying” available online.

Levi Murray


Phoenix based Indie Folk Singer / Songwriter with sounds similar to artists such as Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, S. Carey. Levi has been seen performing at coffee houses around town.

Micah Bentley


Folk rock singer/songwriter, sounds similar to artists such as Noah Gunderson, Ryan Adams, Neil Young. Has been seen on tour all around the US and locally at places like Marquee Theater, Crescent Ballroom, Valley Bar. He has several music releases online everywhere most recently being his single “Safe” and a new album in the works.

Arizona singer songwriter draws inspiration from artists such as City & Colour, Ben Howard, Jack Johnson. Chase has been seen at venues such as Rebel lounge and Crescent ballroom and has original music online.

Arizona singer/songwriter and realtor Jarrod Kinman is known for playing all over the city. He brings his rock and acoustic vibes inspired by artists such as Chris Cornell and Ed Sheeran.

Matthew Cade


19-year-old singer/songwriter based out of Phoenix, Arizona. "Music has always been a friend to me in times of trouble. It has been my dream in times of darkness, power in times of weakness, and stability in times of uncertainty."

Iron Key Studio - View the current "Dia de los Muertos" inspired exhibit, view live painting demonstrations, and temporary tattoos.

Norma's Wish Boxes - These repurposed and up-cycled cigar boxes are transformed into wish boxes, shadow boxes, and jewelry holders.

Sew Ashtastic - Seamstress specializing in purses and accessories in various pop-culture themes. Everything is handcrafted. Line includes high end leather purses and totes, scarves, picture frames, wallets and more.
