From parades to fireworks and concerts, Peoria is proud to host numerous events each year. The following pages are instructions to guide you through the special event application process.
A representative from the City will contact you upon receipt of your event application and thereafter will serve as your primary point of contact for processing of your permit. Your City of Peoria representative will distribute copies of your application to all city departments and public agencies affected by your event. You will be contacted individually by these departments or agencies only if they have specific questions or concerns about your event. While many public agencies joined together to make this process simple and complete, please be aware that in some cases you may have to contact Federal, State, or County agencies in addition to the City of Peoria.
IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT APPLICATIONS BE SUBMITTED 60 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF THE EVENT DATE TO ALLOW FOR ADEQUATE PROCESSING.
