The mission of the Peoria Arts Commission is to enhance the quality of life in the community by fostering and supporting cultural opportunities for both local artists and the general public.
About the Peoria Arts Commission
The Peoria Arts Commission is a seven member commission. It is one of about 20 advisory boards and commissions appointed by the City Council. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. Meetings will move to the fourth Tuesday of every month starting with the August 2018 meeting. Feb 28, 2019 - Artist Encounter and Public Input with Beth Nybeck
The City of Peoria hosted a community input and artist encounter event with sculptor, Beth Nybeck, on March 1st and 2nd, 2019. Beth will be incorporating the community input, about what family means to you, into her sculpture that will be installed at Paloma Community Park.

Jan 30, 2019 - 'Blooming Spire' Installation Completed
Following a dedication ceremony yesterday, the 50 foot tall sculpture by artist Jeff Zischke is officially completed. The finished artwork is installed near the Lake Pleasant Crossing Shopping Center, located at 25101 N. Lake Pleasant Pkwy. in Peoria, AZ.

Peoria Arts Grant Program
The Peoria Arts Commission is pleased to announce the 2020 Arts Grant Program for non-profit Arts Organizations. The purpose of the grant program is to inspire, enhance and support the arts in the City of Peoria.
The Peoria Arts Commission will be awarding individual awards of up to $5000.
Applicants must meet all the eligibility requirements and submit a grant proposal application to be considered. The opening for the applications is January 31, 2019 and the deadline for submitting the application is April 2, 2019. Applicants must use our new online system at through our website at: https://cityofpeoriaaz.submittable.com
Grant Reporting from Award Recipients from our 2019 Art Grants must be submitted by April 1, 2019 to be eligible to apply for 2020 Art Grants. If you are unable to submit your final report by the deadline, please send a letter of anticipated submittal date and reason to Susan.Hardiman@peoriaaz.gov
