The Operations Division is responsible for Emergency Medical Services, Fire Suppression, Hazardous Materials Response, Technical Rescue Operations and Training.
The EMS department is responsible for training and supporting our Firefighter EMTs and Paramedics. The department manages medical service training, equipment, records and procedures to ensure the best possible care.
The Fire Prevention Division is responsible for inspecting new and existing structures to ensure they are in compliance with Peoria Fire Code. The division is responsible for plan reviews, business inspections and fire investigations.
The community education department is responsible for car seat installation, CPR programs, school visits, station tours, smoke alarms, lock boxes, station tours and the juvenile fire setter program.
The Peoria Fire-Medical Department is now offering Fire and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) coverage to the residents of the Pinnacle Peak County Island by offering a subscription service for a flat rate of $450 a year.
