Enroll your kids to explore new experiences and expand learning in a supervised, safe and secure environment. This program, co-sponsored with the Peoria Unified School District, is the perfect solution for working parents in need of childcare before and after school. Children experience a variety of activities before and/or after school as an alternate to daycare. The program provides a well-rounded, daily core schedule throughout the year and features activities such as arts and crafts, games, events, field trips during school breaks, outdoor activities and more. AM/PM features licensed staff, nutritious snack and a well-balanced program. Recreational instructors also visit the sites each week to teach specialty classes.
All sites are licensed by the Department of Health Services (DHS). A parent or authorized person on the emergency form must sign the child in and out of the program each day. HELP WANTED: Peoria’s Before and After School Programs Needs Recreation Leaders
We are looking for individuals who are good with children, enjoy helping children participate in a variety of programs and activities and are looking for a great work environment. The AM/PM program provides elementary school-aged children with a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, games, events, field trips during school breaks, outdoor activities and more at 22 Peoria Unified School District elementary schools before and after school. AM/PM Program Usage Fees
A $30 non-refundable registration fee (except returning 2016-17 AM/PM or 2017 Summer Camp participants registered by August 2, 6 p.m.), $59 deposit and first week's fee due at registration. Program fees are due each week on MONDAY of the week of participation. A $20 late fee will be assessed on Wednesday for any payments still outstanding.

Early Release Mondays (1:00/1:40 p.m.) & Early Release Days (11:00/11:40)
Beginning Fall 2017 the AM/PM program will provide after school care for Early Release Mondays (ERM) throughout the school year at all PUSD schools located within the City of Peoria. A one-time registration fee of $5, plus a $59 deposit, and one day of early release attendance fee is required for non-AM/PM participants. Participants enrolled consistently five days a week in the PM program will not be charged an additional fee. Participants enrolled 0-4 day schedule pay $14.50 for PM program on those Mondays. ERM ends April 30 and fees will go back to $9.50 for Monday PM. These fees and policies are the same for December 21 and May 24 Early Release days. Release time is 11:00/11:40 a.m. on these days only and a non-perishable sack lunch will be required.
Parent Teacher Conference Days
Children will be released at 10:00/10:40 a.m. from school on October 20 and February 16. AM/PM will be available at that time. Participants enrolled 5 days a week consistently in the full PM program (school dismissal until 6 p.m.) will not be charged an additional fee. All 0-4 day schedules will pay a $14.50 fee for the PM program that day. Children are required to bring a non-perishable lunch.
To register a child, complete the Fee Attendance Contract, the Emergency and Immunization Form, leaving no blanks, with four emergency contacts and provide a copy of child’s immunization record. Copies of immunization records and emergency forms are required every school year. Children may not attend the program without this information. Licensed child care during school breaks that coincide with the PUSD calendar but not federal holidays. Includes scheduled field trips, site events and activities.
Weekly payments will not be accepted at AM/PM school sites. New registrations will be accepted with a check or money order only.

AM/PM Program Registration and Financial Policies
Addressed below are several of our program policies in order to avoid misunderstanding. All of our AM/PM policies and rules are available in the Parent Handbook (PDF).
- Enrollment fees
The registration fee, along with first week and $59 deposit for the last week are all due at the time of enrollment. The weekly usage fee is based on the schedule indicated on your child's enrollment form. For part-time participants, any amount of the $59 that is not used on the last week of the program will be made available for refund at the end of the school year after audits are complete.
- Program fees
Program fees are due each week on MONDAY of the week of participation. A $20 late fee will be assessed on Wednesday for any payments still outstanding.
No refunds or credits will be given due to absence or illness. You can avoid being charged for any day(s) your child will not attend by completing a schedule change form online or at your AM/PM site in writing Thursday prior to the week you are changing. No verbal changes will be accepted.
- Schedule Changes/Additions
Any deviation/change to the schedule submitted on the enrollment form must be given to the site or sent via email to email@example.com) by Thursday prior to the week the changes are to take effect. No verbal changes will be accepted. If your child needs to attend on short notice, parents must call the AM/PM site and your child’s teacher to make arrangements for the child to attend the program. - Delinquent Accounts
Any account balances more than one week past due will result in ineligibility to participate in the program. The account balance and all applicable fees must be paid in full before returning to the program.
