If you are eligible for defensive driving school and complete the class, the violation will be dismissed and you will not be subject to the requirement to attend a TSS class by the MVD. If you are financially unable to meet your court ordered obligation on the day of sentencing, you may request a payment plan. This can only be considered once you have completed the request and make a required down payment.
How do I pay for a traffic ticket?
1. Pay at the Court
Payments are accepted in person at the front counter located in the lobby of the Court during business hours. Notice: All debit/credit card transactions will incur a convenience fee.

After Hours Payments:
A payment drop box is located near the court entrance. Do not place cash payments in the drop box.
The Court accepts the following payment types:
- Cash (in-person payments only)
- VISA/MasterCard/American Express/Discover Card
- Debit Cards - ALL DEBIT CARDS must be processed as credit
- Personal Checks; Certified Checks
- Money Orders
2. Pay by Phone
MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover credit/debit card payments are accepted by phone at 855-581-2433. A convenience fee will be charged for payments made by phone.
3. Pay Online
The Peoria City Court accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card for online payments. All transactions will incur a service fee.
You will need to have your case number or complaint number available in order to complete your online transaction. You may search for your case number online at https://www.azcourts.gov/. Please allow 48 business hours for your new complaint to be entered into the courts case management system.
