Peoria City Council meetings will be held remotely through technological means, as permitted under Arizona law. Specifically, a live stream of the meetings will be broadcast so that members of the public may view and listen to the meeting online at:
Facebook@CityofPeoriaAZ or Youtube@DigitalPeoria
Members of the public are encouraged NOT TO ATTEND THE MEETING IN PERSON but instead to attend and listen to the meeting remotely by viewing the meeting via the live stream broadcast. The April 7, 2020 Peoria City Council Meeting will not include any items that will involve time set aside for public comments at the dais. Social distancing practices will also be used within this separate meeting room in order to protect public health. The separate meeting room will be opened to the public by 6:30 p.m., April 7, 2020. The Pine Room is located at 8401 W. Monroe Street, Peoria, AZ 85345, at the main entrance of City Hall.
PLEASE BE ADVISED OF THE FOLLOWING:
THERE WILL BE NO CALL TO THE PUBLIC DURING THE MEETING
THESE MEASURES ARE IN PLACE TO LIMIT THE NEED FOR MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO PARTICIPATE IN A LARGE PUBLIC GATHERING, WHILE ENSURING THAT THE DISCUSSIONS, DELIBERATIONS AND ACTIONS OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL ARE TRANSPARENT AND CONDUCTED OPENLY.
