In 1976, Dolly Sanchez wanted an event to allow all children in Peoria the opportunity to enjoy an Easter egg hunt. Today, thanks to Dolly’s vision, and a lot of time and energy from the Sanchez family and the city, the Dolly Sanchez Memorial Easter Egg Hunt is one of the largest events of its kind in Arizona. For more information, visit www.peoriaaz.gov/specialevents or call 623-773-7137.
