City Parks Close Early This Week

In compliance with the statewide curfew issued by the Governor Doug Ducey, the City of Peoria will be closing entry to the Rio Vista Recreation Center as well as parks and park amenities beginning at 7 p.m. nightly. This includes entry into city paths, athletic fields, the skatepark, tennis courts, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and the dog parks at the community and neighborhood parks. The city council meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 will begin early with the study session from 4 to 5 p.m. and the regular meeting from 5 to 6 p.m. The curfew is in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. every day until Monday, June 8, 2020.
