Peoria Opens Arts Grants to all Art Organizations

Post Date:05/20/2020 10:39 AM

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Peoria opened up the grant application period for the Arts Enhancement Initiative, which is available to all arts organizations that deliver qualified arts programs and projects in the city of Peoria. For the first time, and for one time only, applications for city arts grants will also be made available to qualified, Peoria-based, for-profit art providers with a current city of Peoria business license. In addition, schools and non-profit arts organizations that provide services in Peoria are also eligible to apply. The Peoria Arts Grant Program is a competitive program where all applications are reviewed and scored by a panel of judges to ensure applicants enhance the arts and culture landscape and the quality of life in Peoria. Grants for eligible programs will be awarded between $1,000 and $5,000. Each organizations may submit a maximum of three arts grant applications for consideration. To complete the application, visit https://cityofpeoriaaz.submittable.com. Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2020 at 12 a.m. Grant awardees will be announced on June 19, 2020. For more information about the program or application process, contact Peoria Arts Coordinator Susan Hardiman at susan.hardiman@peoriaaz.gov.
