Election Day for Pine District is Aug. 27

Your voice counts! Peoria voters in the Pine District will consider candidates for the office of Pine District councilmember at the Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019, Special Primary Election. Ballots were mailed to all registered voters in the Pine District on Wednesday, July 31. Though Randal Rains will appear on the ballot as a candidate, he has formally withdrawn his candidacy. Therefore, votes cast for Randal Rains will not count toward him being elected as the city of Peoria Pine District Councilmember. The Maricopa County Elections Department recommends that ballots be placed in the mail no later than Wednesday, Aug. 21 to ensure that ballots are received in time. Ballots may also be dropped off at a Ballot Replacement Center or a ballot drop-off site, including the city of Peoria City Clerk's Office, before 7 p.m. on Election Day.
