Post Date:04/10/2019 9:17 AM

April is Earth Month; join us for earth friendly events all month long. Swing by the Peoria Main Library to decorate flowerpots on Monday, April 15 from 6 to 7 p.m. While you are there, check out some seeds from our seed library to grow in your new snazzy container. All supplies provided.

Storytime at Peoria Community Gardens will be held on Tuesday, April 16 from 10 to 11a.m. Children age 3 to 5 will enjoy story time, rock painting crafts, snacks, meet Master Gardener Tony and help plant seeds in community garden boxes. The garden is located at 10225 N. 83rd Ave.

April is a busy month with National Library Week, Earth Day, and it is National Poetry Month. Let’s combine all three! Participants will be upcycling damaged/destroyed books and comics to create our own poetry. All supplies will be provided. Join us Sunday, April 28 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Peoria Main Library, located at 8463 W. Monroe St.
