NOTICE OF SUBMISSION OF 
CITY COUNCIL REDISTRICTING TO THE 
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 18th day of October, 2011, the City 
of Peoria, Arizona submitted the proposed redistricting of City Council 
Districts for pre-clearance by the United States Department of Justice, 
Civil Rights Division pursuant to Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 
1965 as amended.

Copies of the submission are available on the City of Peoria Website at 
www.peoriaaz.gov 

A physical copy of the submission is available for public inspection in the 
Office of the City Attorney, City of Peoria, Arizona, 8401 West Monroe 
Street, Room 280, Peoria, Arizona 85345

Comments regarding the proposed redistricting or the submission may 
be submitted to the United States Department of Justice at the following

Ciudad de Peoria, Arizona sometió la división de distritos propuesta de 
los Distritos del Concejo Municipal para aprobación por el Departamento 
de Justicia de los Estados Unidos, División de Derechos Civiles de 
acuerdo con la Sección 5 de la Ley de Derechos de Voto de 1965 como 
enmendados.
