CITY OF PEORIA, ARIZONA

A Special Meeting of the Council Sub-Committee for Evaluations of Municipal 
Judge and City Attorney, of the City of Peoria, Arizona was convened at 8401 
W. Monroe Street, Peoria, AZ in open session at  1:35 p.m.

Members Present:	Vicki Hunt, Council Member (Chair)
			Ron Aames, Vice Mayor
			Carlo Leone, Council Member


Other Municipal Officials Present:	Wynette L. Reed, Human Resources 
					  Director
					Dee Campbell, Executive Assistant	

Minutes:  

Vice Mayor Ron Aames moved to approve the minutes of June 1, 2009 as 
presented.  Motion seconded by Council Member Carlo Leone and carried 
unanimously.

New Business:

Human Resources Director Wynette Reed led a discussion about the process and 
timeline for the evaluation of the Charter Officials: City Attorney and 
Presiding Municipal Judge.  A discussion was held to clarify the sub-committee 
members’ roles and responsibilities during the evaluation process.  The role 
and responsibilities of the Human Resources Department support staff were also 
discussed.  In addition, Human Resources Director Wynette Reed will provide 
additional information relating to the evaluations to the subcommittee at the 
next meeting.The next sub-committee meeting to be held during this process 
will be to discuss the evaluations received from the Council Members and the 
sub-committee will meet with the City Attorney and Presiding Municipal Judge, 
respectively.

Being no further business to come before the board, the meeting was duly 
adjourned at 1:50  p.m..
