The Beardsley Connection at Loop 101

In 2002, the North Central Peoria/Northwest Glendale Circulation Study concluded that a "Texas U-Turn" style interchange would be the preferable configuration to provide alternative freeway access to the area west of Loop 101 and north of Union Hills Drive. In addition, the study recommended the Beardsley Road connection to Loop 101.

Following the completion of the North Central Peoria/Northwest Glendale Circulation Study, the Peoria City Council elected to pursue the development of the Beardsley Road connector. The City of Peoria is coordinating with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) on this project. A Design Concept Report is currently being prepared for the project that will evaluate various alternatives.
