POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

MANAGER’S MEETING:
At least one team representative is required to be present for the mandatory manager’s meeting. Managers may bring one assistant coach to the meeting.

TOURNAMENT GAME ADMISSIONS:
This venue will feature gate admissions. However, each admission will be good for all games for that day. Be certain to obtain a hand stamp which allows unlimited re-entry for that day at each venue.
ALL-TOURNAMENT PASSES:
All tournament passes will be available on the day of check-in. The passes will be good for the first admission of the day. Re-entry for the remainder of the day requires a hand stamp. Passes are valid at all Super Series Winter National venues.
PLAYERS AND COACHES:
Players will be allowed free admission provided the player is wearing his game jersey. Coaches will receive 3 coach's passes at the coach meeting. Coach's passes are not transferable, and if forgotten or lost, the coach must purchase normal admission. Lost coach's passes will not be replaced. Coach's passes are not to be used by spouses or friends.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES:
Both food and beverages will be available at concession stands. Cold drinking water will also be available for players in all team dugouts. Concession stand can also provide lunch and breakfast meals.

COIN FLIP:
A coin flip, 30 minutes before scheduled game time, shall take place between managers behind the backstop of the assigned game field to determine home team. The home team shall occupy the 3rd base dugout and shall provide the official scorekeeper for the game. Any team failing to appear for the coin flip shall lose the flip, unless delayed from the previous game.
GAME TIME LIMITS:
Pool Play - If the game is tied after regulation
innings are completed, but time is still remaining,
additional inning(s) may be played until the time limit
expires. No new inning may start after time has expired. If
the game is still tied, it will be recorded in the pool
standings as such.

Elimination Rounds - no new inning may start after time has expired. If the game is tied, the game must continue until the tie is broken. After 10 innings have been completed, the California tie-breaker will be initiated.

GAMES/FORMAT/SEEDING (based on 64 teams per division):
Each team will have a 5 game guarantee playing 3 pool games followed by a double-elimination bracket. The top 32 teams in pool play will be seeded in the National Championship bracket and the bottom 32 will be seeded in another bracket for consolation. It is the responsibility of each manager to view seed postings at the conclusion of pool play. Results will be posted at tournament headquarters.
FORFEITS:
Any team failing to arrive by game time may, at the director’s discretion, be disqualified from the tournament. If a team emergency warrants – a game may also be re-scheduled at the discretion of the director.
Teams may not “surrender” or “forfeit” in order to save pitching or preserve “runs allowed”.
OFFICIAL RULES:
All games shall be played strictly in accordance with the Sporting News official rules of baseball, and the Super Series Baseball of America handbook. A complimentary rulebook will be included in each team packet.
Special National Championship rules are also detailed in the Super Series rulebook.
RUN RULE:
The Super Series run rule will be in effect for all games.

EJECTIONS:
Any manager, coach, player or fan ejected from a game for any reason shall leave the Complex, and not return for any reason, until the team’s next scheduled game. A second ejection shall disqualify that person from the tournament and they will be prohibited from re-entering the ballpark for any reason.
E-H RULE:
Shall be in effect for the 9's through 14’s divisions.
D-H (HIGH SCHOOL RULE):
Shall be in effect for 15’s age group. This allows a designated hitter for any player in the line-up.
