In July 2005, Special Olympics Arizona expanded to create a West Valley Area catering to cities such as Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Litchfield Park and other surrounding cities. Since its creation, our athlete count has increased by 41%. Through the support of individuals and businesses, Special Olympics West Valley continues to adapt to this growing area and still provide important programs. Donated contributions are of vital importance to the future of our organization and each gift helps to ensure that these programs will continue for those that need them the most.
