LOOSE TRASH COLLECTION
Once a year, the city offers free pickup of
large items from your home. The Solid Waste Division
will be starting it’s annual Loose Trash Cleanup
Program on Monday January 28, 2008 and ending on
Friday, May 9, 2008.
Please note that the zones and time frames have
changed. Only ONE stop will be made per zone.
Please set all items at the curbside on your
assigned Earliest Put Out Date. If you have
questions, please contact the Solid Waste Division
at 623-773-7431.

GUIDELINES
To ensure that your items are
picked up on a timely manner, please follow these
guidelines:
- DO NOT place your items
close to fences, utility boxes, water meters,
vehicles or mailboxes-your items WILL NOT be
picked up.
- Place your items out
for collection no earlier than the “Earliest Put
Out Date” for your zone.
- For the safety of our
children, please remove, tape, or tie doors to
all appliances.
- Items will not be
collected from private property or vacant lots.
Items need to be placed at the curbside.
Residents with Solid Waste refuse service may
participate in this program.
- Maximum Per Household is:
2000 Pounds and/or 10 cubic yards

on this website, referring to your Solid Waste
Collection and Information Brochure, or by calling
the Solid Waste Information Line at 623-773-7441.

of Peoria Residential Refuse Services with the City
of Peoria to participate in this program.
