Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB)
The Criminal Investigations
Bureau is commanded by Lieutenant Jay Ellison. The
Lieutenant has overall responsibility for the Bureau
to include management, budget and operational
support.

Bureau is part of the Operations Division and is comprised of four separate Units:

As a Bureau, CIB is responsible for all follow-up investigations involving criminal activity, which occurs within the City of Peoria. The Bureau is also tasked with covert drug operations, surveillance and intelligence gathering.
