Neighborhood Pride Program
Neighborhood Pride is a revitalization program adopted by the Peoria City Council in August 1996 to assist established neighborhoods in maintaining their appearance and value. The program is a cooperative work effort between the City and neighborhood residents to eliminate City code violations while enhancing properties in compliance with City codes and ordinances.
The program provides support to individual property owners for improvement of their properties through material donations and volunteer assistance. Typical improvements completed during the enhancement segment of the project include exterior house painting, minor fence and gate repair, gravel placement, and removal of unwanted items.
Residents interested in having a Neighborhood Pride project conducted in their area should contact our Neighborhood Pride Specialist, at 623-773-7667 or click here to email.
Sign up for email news on the Neighborhood Pride program.
Completed applications will be forwarded to the Neighborhood Pride Committee, consisting of three sponsor representatives and two Peoria residents, who will determine the areas that will receive a Neighborhood Pride project.
