What can I put in the recycling container?

Any of these items may be placed in the container; no sorting or bagging required:

Paper Products
Office paper, copy paper, computer paper, envelopes, junk mail, newspaper, advertising inserts, magazines, catalogs, Post-It notes, telephone books, and brown bags (including fast food bags if they aren’t greasy)

Aluminum / Steel / Tin
Beverage cans, and food cans (rinse lightly)

Cardboard and Chipboard
Broken down boxes, cereal boxes (remove the inner bag), milk cartons and juice cartons

Plastics
(look for numbers 1 or 2 inside the recycling triangle)
Water and soda bottles, detergent bottles, milk jugs, water jugs, and condiment bottles (rinse lightly)

Glass
Beverage bottles and food jars (rinse lightly), all colors
