What
happens to the things I recycle?
The City of Peoria
collects the co-mingled recyclable materials and takes them to a
processing facility where they are separated. The different material
such as plastics or aluminum then are sold to companies that use them in different manufactured goods. Here are just a few
uses for recycled material:
