Survey Satisfaction

Nearly every resident rated the overall quality of life in Peoria as either “excellent” or “good,” according to the results of a new survey conducted by the city. They also agreed with the overall direction the city is taking, which is much higher than comparable cities.

Use Caution When Driving Behind Street Stripers

Twice a year, the city of Peoria paints the lines in the roadway. The slow-moving equipment is typically followed by another city truck displaying a CAUTION, WET PAINT sign. Drivers are asked to slow down and wait for the trucks to move through. Click here for more information.

Bulk Trash Clean-Up Program Underway

Once a year, the city offers free pickup of large items from homes.

The Bulk Trash Clean-Up Program is intended for current city of Peoria residents who receive trash and recycling pick up service.

The 2013 program began Jan. 14 and runs through June 28.
