Mission Statement: The mission of the Peoria Public Library is to "develop the library as an informational and cultural center for the community, in order to promote and provide access to a wide range of quality library services and materials, in response to the expressed needs of the citizens of Peoria, Arizona

Vision Statement: The City of Peoria Public Library will become an essential public asset for the community of Peoria by providing

  • Information that educates, empowers, and enriches in varied and suitable formats,

  • Extraordinary people and leading technology that link customers to resources, and

  • Civic leadership in cultivating a thriving, accessible cultural center for an expanding citizenry.

  • An ever-welcoming and inviting environment for its patrons.

  • 394,134 folks visited Peoria Libraries!
  • There were 84,646 people with Peoria library cards.
  • Library computers were used 74,138 times.
  • The libraries had 218,576  items for use by customers.
  • 829,956 total items were used by customers
  • 74,138 questions were answered by librarians.
