Citizen Observer
Program (Ride-Along)
Fire Department Community Relations Menu
In an effort to provide the public an opportunity to
accompany and observe fire department operations in action,
the City of Peoria Fire Department has developed a Citizen
Ride-Along Program.
The following guidelines have been established for this
program:
•
Observers must be at least 18 years of age and have no
physical limitations of a nature that would jeopardize
the safety of the individual or others.
•
Observers shall provide a copy of their valid driver license
for proof of age.
•
Observers must complete and sign a waiver of liability
form.
•
Observation hours are limited to between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00
p.m.
If you are interested in riding along with a City of Peoria
fire company, you may make arrangements through the company
officer (Captain) of the desired station and shift. The
captains are available at the fire stations, Monday through
Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
You will need
the Acrobat Reader plug-in to be able to view the PDF
document. If you do not have the plug-in
