Special Meeting - June 7, 2007 2C Code Amendment, Chapter 2, Section 2-207, Fee Structure, Rio Vista Recreation Center Discussion and possible action to: a) Adopt ORD. 07-24 amending Chapter 2, Section 2‑207, of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) to establish the fee structure and permissible range for new programs at the Rio Vista Recreation Center; and b) Approve a budget transfer in the amount of $40,000 from the General Fund Contingency Account to the Rio Vista Recreation Center Recreation Programs Account for contracted personal trainer services. 3C Code Amendment, Chapter 15, Civil Penalties and Civil Infractions Discussion and possible action to adopt ORD. 07-25 amending Chapter 15 of the Peoria City Code (1992 Edition) pertaining to the Municipal Court and the imposition of civil penalties and the handling of civil infractions. 4C Property Acquisition, Thunderbird Road and Loop 101 Interchange Discussion and possible action to: a) Adopt RES. 07-102 authorizing the acquisition of property for Thunderbird Road improvements at the Loop 101 by donation, outright purchase or the exercise of the power of eminent domain; and b) Authorize a budget transfer within the project in the amount of $101,000 from the General Obligation (GO) Bonds Street System Account to the GO Bonds Land Acquisition Account. 5C Grant, Arizona Criminal Justice Commission, Crime Victim Assistance Program Discussion and possible action to adopt RES. 07-103 authorizing the City of Peoria Police Department to accept funding in the amount of $15,000 from the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC), Crime Victim Assistance Grant Program to assist in funding a full-time victim advocate and related victim services expenses. (LCON06707) 6C Grant, Arizona Department of Public Safety, Crime Victim Assistance Program Discussion and possible action to adopt RES. 07-104 authorizing the City of Peoria Police Department to accept funding in the amount of $45,807 from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Victims of Crime Act (VOCA), Crime Victim Assistance Grant Program to assist in funding a full-time victim advocate and related victim services expenses. (LCON06807) 7C Grant, Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, Radio Frequency Identification Workstations Discussion and possible action to: a) Accept a grant in the amount of $7,006 from the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records to provide funding to the Peoria Public Library for the purchase of two Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) workstations for the Main Library circulation area (LCON06907); and b) Approve a budget transfer in the amount of $7,006 from the Proposed Grants Fund Contingency Account to the Library Services and Technology Grant Fund Furniture Account. 8C Contract, Sun Health, Wellness Programs, Rio Vista Recreation Center Discussion and possible action to approve an agreement with Sun Health to provide joint wellness related programs at the Rio Vista Recreation Center. Discussion and possible action to approve a contract in the estimated annual amount of $400,500 with SourceCorp Statement Solutions for the printing, preparation and mailing of utility billing and sales tax returns, statements and licenses.
