ON OUR ROADS

Williams Road
Williams Road reopened on November 2!  This was a huge success and far ahead of schedule.  The closures of Williams and Deer Valley Roads in October caused many headaches for Mesquite commuters.  Thankfully, Williams Road was able to be reopened while work is completed on Deer Valley.  I would like to personally thank everyone for their patience during this difficult time.  To view the updated traffic map, click here.

Lake Pleasant Parkway
Construction is nearing completion on the Parkway; we are in the home stretch!  Please remember to slow down in the construction areas.  With the holidays coming the roads will be getting busier; higher speeds increase your chances of an accident.  Take care to follow all signs and do not exceed the posted speed limits.  Thank you for your cooperation in keeping yourselves and our workers safe!

Have you noticed the beautiful new landscaping underway on the Parkway? The artfully designed landscaping and walls are attractive, low maintenance, and enhance the natural beauty of our desert environment.  The ebb and flow of the terrain and the varied textures are meant to bring to mind the waters of our beautiful lake.  This enhancement is a strong statement about the pride we take in our city!
