ON OUR ROADS

Pinnacle Peak Opened Ahead of Schedule
Pinnacle Peak, from 83rd to 87th Avenue, was scheduled to be closed until December 14.  Work was finished ahead of schedule and the road was reopened on December 7.  That's a nice treat!

Happy Valley Road Construction
Construction on Happy Valley Road will begin in January.  This is to construct the missing segment over New River between 91st Avenue and Terramar Blvd.  Due to the construction more trucks will be in the area of 83rd Avenue.  Please take caution and watch your speed; we want everyone to be safe in the new year!

IN OUR CITY

Holiday Trash Collection
The holidays are always a busy time- especially for our garbage containers!  Make sure you know when your pick-up days are, so you don't miss your collection time!  A complete schedule for the Christmas and New Year holidays is available here.

Christmas Tree Drop Off
When the time comes to take down the tree, there's no need to worry about where to take it for disposal.  The Solid Waste Department is making disposal very easy for residents by offering a curbside pick-up program!  Collection begins in early January and you must prepare your tree by removing ornaments, tinsel, lights, etc.  For more information, click here.
