Benchmark Control Database (2001)

The benchmark control capital improvement project of 2001 included the southern urbanized reaches of the City of Peoria from Jomax Rd (North), to Northern Ave (south) with the intent of collecting, measuring and reporting on survey monumentation corresponding to Public Lands Survey System, as found within the incorporated area of Peoria.  Where monumentation was lacking, a calculated point was to be determined.

Horizontal:

• Datum: North American Datum 1983 – Epoch 1992 – HARN

• Units of measure: International Feet (0.3048 Meter) 

• Modified State plane coordinates scaled and applied from section corner located at 91st Ave and Bell Rd (NE Corner Section 4, T03N, R01E)

Vertical:

• Datum: NAVD88

• Units of measure: International Feet (0.3048 Meter)

• Orthometric Heights derived from Geoid 1999
