About the Peoria Police Department
This is an exciting time to live and work in Peoria. The city is exploding with both growth and opportunity. Throughout it all, Peoria has continued to maintain an extremely high quality and very safe lifestyle. We’ve managed to maintain a crime rate in Peoria, which today, is actually lower than it was in 1990 when it was a small city of fewer than 50,000 people.
Our goals are twofold: to continue that trend and to continue to work in partnership with you, the community.
