The City of Peoria promotes the development of viable urban communites by creating decent, affordable housing opportunities for eligible low and moderate income households who wish to purchase a home in Peoria.  The City makes homeownership affordable by providing financial assistance in the form of homebuyer assistance.  The Homebuyer Assistance Program is managed by the City's Neighborhood Services Division and is conducted in compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program guidelines.
