Curbside Recycling Comes To Peoria   The City of Peoria  provides a co-mingled curbside recycling program for Peoria residents.  There is no need to separate or bag the recyclables.   Acceptable Items: Paper - newspaper, magazines, junk mail, phone books, soft cover books, office and writing paper. Plastics (with the symbol #1 and #2) - water jugs, milk jugs, juice jugs, detergent bottles and water bottles. Cardboard - broken down boxes, cereal boxes, detergent boxes, and shoe boxes. Aluminum - soda cans, foil paper, pie plates (clean). Metal - steel can (vegetables, fruit, soup cans). Glass - jars, beverage drinks.
