The Peoria Arts Commission   About the Peoria Arts Commission   The Peoria Arts Commission is committed to enhancing the quality of life in the community by fostering and supporting cultural opportunities for both local artists and the general public.   The Arts Commission is one of about twenty city advisory boards and commissions appointed by the City Council.  It has seven members and staff support is provided by the city's Department of Communications and Public Affairs.
