Project
Description
This project
will widen Olive Avenue under the Loop 101 to three lanes in
each direction and increase the turning lanes to two lanes in
each direction. The embankments will be removed and
vertical walls will be constructed under the abutments.
The paving will line up with the new lanes that the City of
Peoria is constructing east of the Loop 101 at 91st Avenue and
Olive Avenue.

Project Status
ADOT and Bison Contracting are completing the
final touches to the project. Once ADOT and Bison have
completed their work, the City will be installing the final
sections of landscape and irrigation system. It is
anticipated that there will be occasional lane restrictions
throughout the end of the year.
