Mission: Provide reliable, quality water services to Peoria customers today and tomorrow

FAST FACTS

On average, in 2005, each Peoria Utilities customer used 155 gallons of water each day.
Approximately 2/3 of the water used in an average residential home goes to landscape irrigation!
More than 80,000 water quality tests were performed on Peoria’s water in 2005.
Each one of the dollars you spend on water delivered to you from the City of Peoria gets divided into five different pieces related to the delivery of that water. Please see page 6 for more details.
The brain is composed of 70% water, so thinking about water each time we use it should be easy!
