Introduction

The City of Peoria Utilities Department
is dedicated to providing water that is safe, convenient, and affordable to over 106,000 residents on a 24/7 basis.

Our customers expect this level of service. Providing a long-term sustainable water supply to Peoria citizens is often a challenge in our desert environment, which is subject to periodic natural drought conditions.

Water Conservation should be an important aspect of daily life in the desert, and we encourage a lifestyle and commitment to using water wisely. We also pride ourselves on providing water to your tap that is treated, tested, and safe for any use you may need.

Please read on for more information on how we provide you, our valued customer, a safe and sustainable water supply.

Sincerely,

Stephen L. Bontrager, P.E., D.D.E.,
Director, Utilities Department
