Peoria residents have become accustomed to a high quality drinking water supply and the transition from groundwater to surface water will not compromise this quality.

Peoria’s water supply meets all the water quality standards mandated by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In short, Peoria’s water supply is safe to drink and use – always.
