Sponsoring an Event
Sponsoring all or part of any of our special events is easy. Each and every proposal is customized to fit each clients specific needs. Once a decision is made regarding the level of participation, a contract between the City of Peoria and the client is initiated. From start to finish, this process takes approximately one (1) month.
All clients must include a certificate of insurance (C.O.I.) with their returned contract. The C.O.I. must be in the amount of 1 million general and 2 million aggregate, and list the City of Peoria as the additional insured. The City of Peoria is in no way endorsing the above listed companies but merely providing a suggested list acquired from the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA). Most insurance agencies have the capability of writing any policy. It is best to do the research you’re comfortable with.
Benefits for sponsoring depend of course on the level of participation but can range from the company name listed in an event program, lead generation, to having your logo and or business listed on our cable and newspaper ads that we produce for each event.
Volunteering
With the exception of our July 4th event, our events bring in an average of 6,000 in attendance per event. We utilize hundreds of volunteers for these events.
We encourage school clubs, community organizations and individuals to volunteer. Volunteers will assist with running carnival games, arts & crafts, handing out information, event set-up and tear down and so much more.
