What are your
hours?
We're open Mon - Fri from 8am - 5 pm but are closed
during holidays and on weekends.
Are you open during lunch?
Yes
How do I get to your location?
We're located at the Development Community Services Building 9875 N. 85th Avenue, 1st floor. Our phone number is (623) 773-7137.
Are you the
same as the Community Center?
The Community
Center is one of the facilities managed by the Community Services
Department. It is located on 83rd Dr. & Jefferson St. (2 blocks south of Peoria
Ave.). It's a small white building with a large parking lot . Their phone number is
(623)773-7436.

How do
I reserve a Ramada?
Ramada reservations can be done in
person or by phone (with credit/debit card) at (623)773-7137. There are
single and double ramadas; and they are reserved in 4-hour blocks of time
(9am-1pm; 1pm-5pm; and 5pm-9pm). The cost of the reservation is
$15-$25 for a single ramada and $25-$50 for a double ramada.
How do
I rent a field?
Most of our fields are used for City
programs. However, you can contact Marc Brust at marc.brust@peoriaaz.gov
for availability and fees.
When
is the Splash Park open?
We usually open the Splash Park
on or
about April 15th, when the temperature is warm.
Does
Peoria have dog parks? If so, where are they
located?
Peoria has three Dog Friendly Areas
located in three neighborhood parks: Alta
Vista, Parkridge
and Sunnyslope.

RECREATION
I
missed the deadline to register my child for sports. Is there
anything I can do?
Yes. For most sports programs
after the deadline for registration we open a waiting list. As soon
as there is a vacancy in the program we will contact you. To add
your child to the waiting list, call us at (623)773-7137.
I
want to register my children in your programs online using Reconnect or by
phone via TeleReg (623)773-7725, but both systems ask for an ID
and a family
password. Where can I get them?
You
can either email us along with name and birthdates of all the people you
want to include in your account, home address and home phone number at recmail@peoriaaz.gov
or call us at (623)773-7137 and we will set them up for you.

I
would like to advertise my services in the City's brochure or to teach
classes. Who should I contact?
For brochure questions regarding
advertisement and teaching opportunities contact Heather Duffett at
heather.duffett@peoriaaz.gov.
What
are the dates and locations for the recreation programs that the City
offers?
The dates and locations for our
programs depend on the season and the program. Information is
available in Reconnect (http://recreation.peoriaaz.gov) and in the
brochure distributed to all Peoria residences every quarter: mid January,
mid April, mid August, and mid November. Non residents can
pick up a copy of the brochure at City Hall (8401 W. Monroe St) or
at the library.
Where
can I get a copy of the brochure?
The
brochure is distributed quarterly to all Peoria households. If you
are a Peoria resident and didn't get one, contact your local post
office. You can also pick up a copy of the brochure at City Hall or
at the library. Another way to get a hold of the classes and
programs offered for the quarter is to visit Reconnect or to download
the brochure (in PDF format).
