Peoria Police to host DUI Task
Force December 30th High intensity DUI patrols in place entire New Years weekend On Saturday, December 30 at 7:30 PM the west valley police agencies will join Peoria Officers at the Peoria Public Safety Administration Building, 8351 W. Cinnabar Avenue, to make our streets safer. These officers will aggressively patrol our west valley streets looking for impaired drivers. Participating agencies include: Arizona Department of Public Safety, Avondale, Buckeye, El Mirage, Glendale, Goodyear, Phoenix, Surprise and Tolleson. This is another task force operation being held by the West Valley DUI Task Force and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The Peoria Police Department will continue its intensive DUI enforcement patrols along with its DUI Abatement Program contacts at local restaurants and bars throughout the entire New Years weekend due to the Fiesta Bowl being held in Glendale on January 1st. The Peoria Police Department wants everyone to enjoy the New Years holiday as well as the Fiesta Bowl experience but want to make sure they do it safely and responsibly. ### |
