Names of Peoria officers involved in shooting
released The Peoria Police Department is releasing the names of the officers involved in the officer involved shooting that lead to the death of a 27 year old male and the injuring of Peoria Officer Bill Weigt on December 17, 2005 at 8800 W. Olive Avenue. The officers have been placed on paid administrative leave which is standard procedure in officer involved shootings.
