Five armed suspects forced their way into a house in the 8000 Block of West Saguaro Wednesday night, November 9, holding the 5 occupants at gun point while they looked for money and property.

At about 7:05 p.m. Wednesday night, Peoria Police officers responded to a call of subjects with guns going in to a house in the 8000 block of West Saguaro. When the officers arrived, they discovered two suspects in a vehicle and they were detained. Shortly after, two suspects exited the house, one carrying a TV and the other was armed. Police officers ordered the suspects to stop, and they fled back in to the house. The suspects then broke a window out of the north side of the house fleeing the area and leaving some of their weapons behind. A search of the house lead to the recovery of two assault rifles in the backyard. The neighborhood was secured, and a third suspect was arrested when he came across an undercover officer. A search of the area was conducted and two other suspects were found, one hiding in a tree and the other hiding in a shed. A sixth suspect, described only as a Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old with the first name of Antonio but goes by the nick name “Oso”, was not located. A total of five weapons were recovered, three assault rifles and two revolvers. One of the victims received a minor injury from being hit on the head, possibly with a handgun.

The victims indicated that they were robbed by the same suspects last week and that incident was not reported to the police.
